At The Artistic Bee, we take great pride in the quality and care that goes into every nail set we create. Each order is handcrafted, carefully inspected, and packaged with multiple layers of protection before it ever leaves our hands. Because of the custom and handmade nature of our products, our refund policy is structured to protect both our customers and our business fairly.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Our Packaging Standard
Every order from The Artistic Bee is packaged using the following layered system to ensure your nails arrive safely:
- Finished nail set secured inside a plastic case with a glue strip
- Plastic case sealed with a tamper-evident tape seal
- Sealed case placed inside a protective plastic sleeve
- Plastic sleeve shipped inside a bubble wrap envelope
All orders include tracking. The tamper-evident seal must be intact and uncut for any damage or defect claim to be considered. A broken or missing seal indicates the product has been accessed and voids eligibility for a damage-related claim.
Reporting Window
All issues must be reported within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date as shown by your tracking information. Claims submitted outside of this window will not be eligible for review.

Lost Packages
We understand that carriers sometimes experience delays or errors. If your package appears to be lost, please note the following:
- A package is not considered lost until 12 days have passed from the expected delivery date
- During this period, we encourage you to monitor your tracking and check with neighbors or your local post office, as packages are often recovered
- After the 12-day grace period, we will open a carrier investigation on your behalf
- Once the investigation is complete, we will offer a free replacement including shipping
- If a replacement cannot be fulfilled, a refund will be considered at that time
Note: If tracking confirms delivery to the correct address, the package is considered delivered. We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged due to a shipping incident, we will make it right. However, to protect against fraudulent claims, the following requirements must be met:
To qualify for a damage claim:
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- You must submit four photos showing:
- The outer bubble wrap envelope (showing visible shipping damage)
- The plastic sleeve
- The plastic case
- The tamper-evident tape seal, intact and uncut
- Damage must be consistent across all packaging layers, indicating a transit incident
If your claim is approved:
- A free replacement including shipping will be issued
- If a replacement cannot be fulfilled, a refund will be offered
- Accepting a replacement voids the refund option
Claims where the outer packaging shows no damage but the product inside is damaged, or where the tamper-evident seal has been cut, will not be approved.
Wrong Item Sent
If you receive an item that does not match your order, we sincerely apologize for the error. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- A photo of the item received
- Your order confirmation showing what was ordered
We will send the correct item at no charge including shipping. If the correct item cannot be fulfilled, a refund will be issued. Accepting a replacement voids the refund option.
Missing Items
Missing nails from your case:
If nails are missing from inside your sealed case upon opening, contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the opened case and intact tamper seal. We will send a free replacement.
Missing glue kit:
If the glue kit that accompanies your order is missing from your package, contact us within 48 hours. We will:
- Ship the glue kit to you separately at no charge
- Apply a 25% discount to your next purchase as an apology for the inconvenience
No monetary refund will be issued for a missing glue kit.
Manufacturer's Defect
If your nail set arrives with a manufacturing defect — such as nails that are broken, malformed, or missing due to a production error — we will address it promptly.
To qualify:
- The defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Photos must show the defect clearly along with the intact tamper-evident seal
- The defect must be consistent with a manufacturing issue, not misuse, improper application, or removal
If your claim is approved:
- A free replacement including shipping will be offered
- A 35% discount on your next purchase will be applied
- Accepting the replacement voids any refund option
- If a replacement cannot be fulfilled, a refund will be considered
What Is Not Covered
The following situations are not eligible for a refund or replacement:
- Applied or worn nails — once nails have been applied to fingers, they are considered used and cannot be returned or replaced
- Buyer's remorse — we do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, color preference, or personal dissatisfaction on custom/handmade orders
- Damage after delivery — damage resulting from improper application, removal, or general wear is not covered
- Tamper seal cut or missing — any claim where the seal has been cut or is absent will not be processed
- Claims outside the 48-hour window — issues reported after 48 hours of confirmed delivery are not eligible
- Allergic reactions or skin sensitivities — please see our Patch Test Advisory below
Patch Test Advisory
The Artistic Bee products contain adhesive materials that may cause reactions in individuals with sensitive skin or adhesive allergies. We strongly recommend performing a patch test before full application.
To patch test: apply a small piece of the adhesive strip to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours. If you experience redness, itching, swelling, or irritation, do not use the product.
The Artistic Bee is not responsible for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities resulting from the use of our products. This advisory does not qualify as grounds for a refund or replacement.
